The integrated check valve provides an additional level of security to prevent back siphoning in the event of a power loss. The wide rubber base helps absorb air pump vibrations, reducing noise.
The Aqueon QuietFlow Air Pump line is available in black, and the pumps are made of rubber. Weighing 0.65 Pounds, the air pumps are powered by a corded electric source. Replacement parts, including the check valve, diaphragm, and dust filter pad, are sold separately as repair kits designed specifically for Aqueon QuietFlow Air Pumps.
