The easy-to-replace filter cartridge contains 25% more activated carbon than leading brands, effectively removing dissolved organic waste materials. Aqueon's patented designs incorporate unique features to enhance water quality and clarity, increase oxygen levels, and reduce noise.
The internal pump design of Aqueon QuietFlow filters helps dampen noise, eliminate leaks, and start up automatically after cleaning or power interruptions. This self-priming feature is a great benefit, as it ensures the filter resumes operation without the need for manual priming.
Aqueon QuietFlow Power Filters feature four stages of filtration: mechanical, chemical, biological, and wet/dry. These higher flow rates ensure a greater dissolved oxygen content, leading to healthier and more active fish. The internal pump design once again helps dampen noise, eliminate leaks, and start up automatically after cleaning or power interruptions.
Aqueon filters boast higher flow rates than the competition, ensuring proper water turnover for cleaner water and higher dissolved oxygen content. This improves the overall health and activity level of the fish.
The patented biological grid has a large surface area to support more beneficial bacteria, effectively eliminating ammonia and nitrates. A second wet/dry grid provides further biological filtration and oxygenation as the water returns to the aquarium. Since the filter pump is submerged in the aquarium, there is no need for priming at setup or when restarting the filter after cleaning or power interruptions.
The internal pump design allows for virtually silent operation, continuous flow rates, and a much thinner profile, reducing the chances of leaks.
